Each piece of timber is unique and varies in colour and finish. You can expect to see knots, veins, worm holes, colour variations and other imperfections throughout your furniture. This adds character and means not one other person in the world will have the exact same piece as you. While we of course want you to love your T&T piece and will do whatever we can to ensure you go home happy, charges will apply for any re-manufacturing materials and labour costs if you don’t like the natural identity of your piece as unfortunately this is out of our control.

Timber staining colours are a guide only and colour variation will always occur due to the nature of timber.

Timber is a natural product and can move and breathe throughout its lifetime, which is just one of the reasons it is so special! Dramatic changes in temperature from air conditioning or heating can cause damage to your piece. Please ensure your timber piece is positioned in a stable environment to limit any movement.

Other natural environmental factors such as sun, heat, wind, moisture, humidity etc can change the appearance of timber furniture over time, including slight bowing, splitting, shrinkage, expansion and discolouration. This adds character and will not compromise the structural integrity of the piece so is not covered under warranty. To ensure your piece is looked after correctly and well maintained, please refer to our care instructions which can be found here

We require a 30% deposit to place your order and start the exciting process of making your special piece. Once your deposit has been paid we will order the timber and get started. This deposit is non-refundable once the timber has been ordered and will be retained to cover the cost of materials if the order is cancelled. The remaining 70% is due upon completion. If the piece cannot be collected for any reason, the final payment still must be paid within 14 days of the completion date.
